ART ~ USE OF THE ART

COLLECTING & INVESTMENT

These art pieces are unique in their own right. They hold their own in their visual magnetism, high level of detail and composition. The paintings are inspired by Spirit, nature and, with this series, they take inspiration from the Western indigenous basketry traditions. The native peoples who created the baskets of old spent many hours weaving in a meditative fashion, and since these people honored the natural world around them, there was some aspect of ritual associated with each phase of creation. Even though baskets were both utilitarian and ceremonial, the process of the making of the baskets had a sense of ritual and honoring. For instance, the collection of the required material involved giving thanks for the plants that they would harvest.

USE AS MEDITATION TOOLS

Each of these artworks has a purpose. They were created as conduits of positive energy, in a meditative fashion, like the baskets. So as a result, these serve as meditation visuals that connect you with a specific energy. They represent the subtle human energy centers in the body, or chakras.

Because of the manner in which these were created, the paintings can change the energy of the space in which they are hung.
